16 Iranians injured in road accident in Iraq’s Wasit province

Sixteen Iranian pilgrims were injured when their bus overturned between the towns of Jassan and Kut in Wasit governorate in central Iraq.

The executive director of the Red Crescent Society in the Iranian province of Ilam Ghulam Reza Ali Mohammadi said that, taking into account the coordination from the Iraqi side, 7 wounded were received and transferred to the Imam Hussein hospital. in the city of Mahran, and later nine more were injured.

It is also mentioned that seven Iranian visitors have died due to severe injuries they received when the bus they were traveling in caught fire on a road in Wasit province last Tuesday.

A few days ago, there were also two traffic accidents in Nasiriyah and Basra, which resulted in the death and injury of many Iranian guests.
