Egyptian Al Ahly Football Club Denies Imposing Fine on Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba
Egyptian Al Ahly Football Club director Khaled Bebo has denied the veracity of press reports that the Red Giant side have imposed a financial fine on their star Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba due to his non-compliance.
During statements on the Al-Ahly club website, Bebo clarified that reports on social networks about imposing a financial fine on Kahraba under the pretext of non-compliance are incorrect.
He added: “What is being said is a continuation of a series of false rumors aimed at shaking the stability of the team at the start of the new season, and this has not happened and will not happen, God willing… because there are rules and regulations and that’s it they are observed.”
Some social media accounts claimed that Kahraba was fined for staying up late and not keeping company with Ahmed Fattouh, a Zamalek player.
Al Ahly are preparing to face their fellow Egyptian club on Tuesday evening at the Burj Al Arab Stadium in the first round of the Egyptian League of the 2023/24 season.
Kahraba will miss today’s match against Al Ahly due to suspension.
