Ukrainian website Country.ua reported that a massive explosion was heard in Kyiv after sirens sounded warning of air strikes on the city.
The site said on its Telegram channel: “We heard an explosion in Kyiv.”
Where exactly the aforementioned explosion occurred and whether it resulted in damage or casualties is not specified.
Earlier, according to the electronic map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, an air disaster was declared throughout the country.
It is noteworthy that since October 10, the Russian army has been attacking defense enterprises, military departments, communications and energy facilities on the territory of Ukraine.
As President Vladimir Putin emphasized, this explosion is a response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge and other Ukrainian attacks on Russian civilian infrastructure.
Since then, air raid alerts have been announced daily in various regions of Ukraine, and sometimes throughout the country.
