Manchester United secures spot in FA Cup final against City after defeating Brighton.

Manchester United set up to face neighbors Man City in the FA Cup final, beating Brighton 7-6 on penalties after regulation and extra time ended in a goalless draw in Sunday’s semi-final.

This is the second final for United this season after winning the League Cup title, ending a six-year title drought in Dutch manager Erik ten Hag’s first season.

This is the 21st time United have reached the FA Cup final, matching Arsenal’s record, and the first time they have lost to Chelsea since 2018, noting that their last title in the tournament dates back to 2016 at the expense of ” Crystal Palace.”

The Red Devils will meet in this year’s final at Wembley Stadium next June 3rd against neighboring Manchester City, who beat Sheffield United 3-0 yesterday Saturday.
